It is our policy to transport all students who live two miles or more from the High School. Currently that is approximately 1,000 students daily. Our intent is to make pick-ups so no student has to walk more than one-third mile on government cared-for roads to board a bus.

Rules and Regulations

Transporting your child/children must be accomplished in the safest and best way possible. The responsibility for this task lies in the hands of the school bus drivers who must keep order on the bus while safely driving your child/children to and from school. Disruptive riders could endanger the safety of the entire bus. With the safety and welfare of your child/children in mind, the Board of Education has established Policy #8600 Transportation and these specific bus guidelines are covered in the Parents/Student Handbook. Parents and students must realize that the school bus is an extension of the classroom and student must abide by these rules.

Routes are listed for all of HUHS routes. They are listed by stops. If you are new to the area, please read the routes over carefully and pick the one that is closest to your Home. You should be able to figure out an approximate time from this listing. If the bus goes past your home, make sure your student is standing out at the end of your driveway plenty of time before your bus is scheduled to come by. If the bus doesn't go past your home, please get to one of the scheduled stops so we don't miss you.

Back of High School

2) Friess Lake

First stop at 6:15 At Country Square and Pleasant Hill Rd. East on Pleasant Hill, south on Fieldstone & Greystone to 164. South on 164, west on Hubertus Rd. to Wejegi Dr., E. Friess lake, Sonseeahray and Murray Ln. subdivisions. Return to Hubertus Rd. and travel to Friess Lake Dr. East on Lake to Lakeview, turn around and continue to Hwy 167. West on 167, north on Hwy CC, west on Powder Hill to Waterford, continue on Hwy E to 83, then to school

 3) Pike Lake

First stop 6:10 High Rd. and Hwy 60. South on High, east on Second, noth on Lake Dr. to Teri Rd. to Hwy 60. West on 60, stopping at Otto Dr. and Wayside Dr. South on Hwy K, to Eagle Point, turn around and continue on K. East on E, south On Kettle Moraine, west on Waterwor, south on K, east on Pleasant Hill, south on CC, west on Shannon, north on K, to Loghouse. Then Hwy. E west to Hall Rd. and to Hwy 83. North on 83, west on Lee Rd. to Hillcrest Subdivsion, then to School.    (Students in Hillcrest and on Shannon Rd. will ride the Plat route home)

4) Hubertus West

First stop 6:15 Mayfield and Conestoga. South on Mayfield, west on Hubertus, south on St. Hubert's, turn around, east on Hubertus, north on Heather Hill to Mount Ln., to Tomac, to Maple, to Moraine, to Mount, to Oak, to Highview east. North on Mayfield, west on 167, then to school.

5) City Route

First stop 6:45 Foxtail and Broadmoore, Park Knoll, Cleveland, south on Wacker, east on State, to High St. north on Forest, east on Prospect, south on Main, east on Highland, south on 6th, east on Union, south on Wilson, west on Loos, south on Cedar to school.

6) Hubertus South

First stop 6:00 Elmwood & 164. East on Elmwood, into Ravine Ridge Subdivision, turn around, continue east on Elmwood, north on Scenic, east on Bark Lake Rd. To Bark Lake Drive, N. Shore, Amy Belle. Turn around and return to Scenic north to Hickory Hill, west to cul du sac, turn around. North on Scenic, west on Hubertus, north on Prairieview, west on Prairie to Hilltop View, turn around and take Prairie, west on Bell Tower, north on Holy Hill Ln., west on 167 and into school.

First stop 6:00 on Harvest Rd., north on PS to Nevada Rd. south on Idaho, west on 33, north on P, east on DW, north on 175, west on Hochheim, south on P, west on Nenno, south on Townhall, west on Rock, south on Pierce, east on Iowa, south on Freedom, east on Illinois, south on Goodland, east on S, south on U, east on Arthur, south on K, east on Pheasant Run, turn around and continue south on K, then to school. 

8) Hubertus North

First stop 6:15 @ Pleasant Hill & 164. East on Pleasant Hill, south on Scenic, west on Turnwood, to Candlewood, Woodsfield and west to Longfield. North on Fieldcliff, to White Pine Trail, south to 167. East on 167, south on Scenic, west on Hubertus, south on Hillside to Maple Grove, turn around, north on Hillside to Vista Moraine and Keli Jean Ct. Return to Hillside north, west on 167, then to school.

9) Richfield

First stop 6:10 on Pleasant Hill east of Scenic. East on Pleasant Hill, south on 175 to Skyline Subdivision. Continue south on 175, east on Hubertus, to Townline & maple Terrace. Return to Hubertus Rd. west to 175, south on 175 to Amy Belle, trun around & return to Hubertus Rd. West on Hubertus, north on Scenic, west on Windy Knoll to Wolf's Run to 167. West on 167, north on Hillside to Kettering Ridge, and return to 167 east to 83, then into school.

10) Plat

First stop 5:55 on St. Augustine south of 167. South on St. Augustine Rd. West on Monches Rd. to Hwy Q, west on Q, turn around at Church, east on Q, north on St. Augustine, go down Tory and return to St. Augustine. East on Monches to Kruesers Rdge, turn around, east on Monches, to Hawks Nest and trun around. South on Sherman, east on Q, south on Plat, east on Monches and go through Belvedere Subdivsion. Cross Monches, Winchester Pass to Plat Rd. North on Plat, east on Elmwood, south on Jamesway Pass, and out to 164. North on 164 and into school.

11) Monches

First stop 6:00 Hwy O & 83. South on 83, west on Cork to Oconnolly Circle, turn around and return to 83 south. West on Roosevelt, to Limerick and Erin Rd., turn around, Clare Rd., south on Killarney, east on County Line, north on 83 to Glen Erin, turn around, east on Q to K. North on K, west on Dublin, to O'Connell, Tara Hill, King's Way, Heather, return to O'Connell. South on K, east on Emerald, west on Shamrock, north on K, and into school.

12) Druid Lake

First stop @ 6:15 Galway Rd. south of Druid Lake. South on Galway, west on Garvey to Cavanaugh Ct. and Rolephson Rd. Turn around at Robin Ridge and return to Galway south. East on Hwy O to 167. South on Dublin, to Donegal, Kilkee and Kanturk, return to east on Donegal. North on K, west on 167, north on 83, west on Druid Lake Rd. north on Taylor, east on Waterford, north on Elmwood, east on Lee to Meadow Ln., and into school.

1) Neosho

First stop 6:15 Saylesville and Taylor Rd. West on Saylesville, south on P, west on NN, south on Drumlin to Ricardo and Eldonna Dr., west on Station Rd., to 67 north. West on Riverview Dr. to EE, north to Elmwood, and Hale. North on Lehman, east on Hwy 60, south on Hwy 67, east on Pond, south on Jefferson, east on Saylesville, north on Resthaven, east on Pond and into school.

2) Iron Ridge

First stop 6:00 Hwy N and Goodland Rd., N, north on P, west on Butler, north on Lilac, east on Woodland, south on St. John's and turn around, continue east on Woodland. North on P, west on S, north on WS, to St. Matthews, East on AY & Illinois, south on P, east on S, turn around at Blue Valley, south on Buchanan, north on Goodland, turn around at Green Rd., Goodland south, east on Arthur, south on U and into school. 

3) Rubicon/Woodland

First stop 6:13 Lilly Rd. and N. East on N, south on P, east on 60, north on Rome Rd., north on P, west on Grant, north on 67, turn around at Moss Rd., take WS north and turn around at Woodland Rd. South on 67, west on Oaklawn, east on Butler, south on 67, east on 60 and into school.

4) St. Lawrence

First stop 6:15 @ Rettler Farm Estates. North on U, East on Arthur, north on 83, west on K, turn around, south on 83, east on Arthur, south on Bramblewood, turn around, and return to 83 south. east on Arthur, to Ernst, continue east on Arthur, south on Kettle Moraine, west on Hilldale, to Briarwood.  Pick up on Lone Oak by Clinic. Hwy K south, west on Monroe into school.

LATE BUS INFORMATION

There are only two buses assigned:  Late buses park in the front circle drive and all rides (MUST HAVE SCHOOL PURCHASED PASSES).  Buses leave HUHS at 5:20 p.m.  LATE BUSES DO NOT PROVIDE DOOR TO DOOR SERVICE.  HOWEVER STUDENTS CAN BE DROPPED ALONG THE DESIGNATED ROUTE.  (Times are estimated)

1) West Route

Cedar to Lee to 83. South on 83, west on O to Harding Rd. North on P, West on 60, south on 67 to Neosho School @ 5:45. North on 67 to WS through Woodland. East on Hwy S, north on P, Herman School @ 5:57, east on 33, south on PS, east on S, south on U, east on Arthur, south on 83 and return to city.

2) East Route

Monroe to K, to Hwy E. East on E, south on CC, east on 167 to Friess Lake School @ 5:35. Continue east to Richfield School @ 5:42. South on 175, west on Hubertus, south on 164, west on Elmwood, south on Plat. Plat School @ 5:52. West on Monches, south on St. Augustine, west on Q, north on Hwy K and return to city.
